I do have one thing to say about the pizza guy bit. When I lived in the midwest as a kid my parents did this a few times because they lost the wallet and didnt want the kid to hold the heavy box for so long. It definitely isnt a thing now due to the exponential rise in equal parts paranoia and crime but yeah, some areas definitely did this

Totally disagree with you on the Damon/Bonnie situation. I actually really, *really* loved that their relationship stayed platonic. I just feel like it's SO rare, especially in teen CW shows like this, for male and female characters to have any kind of chemistry or connection without it being ruined by a tropey romantic plot that inevitably undermines their actual bond. I mean, who says that a platonic relationship has to be any less emotional/impactful/meaningful than a romantic one? So yeah, i thought the damon/bonnie was super refreshing, and I don't think they sold anything short withholding the romantic plotline.

I agree that it was nice to see a platonic heterosexual relationship in a story like this. However, they could have kept Stefan and Caroline the platonic relationship while Damon and Bonnie explore the romantic relationship. The enemies to friends to lovers arc would have been amazing for Bonnie.

I quit watching TVD around season 6 (because it got just so boring) and migrated over to The Originals. That one I watched in its entirety and is, by far, the better show. Klaus' craziness, violent tendencies, scheming and unpredictability make it endlessly entertaining. He's by far one of the most interesting, most complex characters in this universe. P.S. Elijah sucks.

I actually like that Bonnie and Damon didn’t turn out to be a couple. It was refreshing to see that those two ended up having a platonic relationship even after they got stuck together on that place. But something about them was off, sometimes it just didn’t feel very authentic to me, almost as if they had repressed feelings for each other

Girl, a brazilian network station started streaming TVD and I started watching, only to learn my sister had pretty much the whole series in her laptop, where I would watch the rest of the series in that summer. And pizza guy vampire the one fucking thing that marked the series for me like; seriosly?! In brazil if u invite the pizza guy in hes more willing to throw the pizza like a freesbee in than to go all the way inside so you can spare yourself, it was always so dumb to me, nice to see that im not the only one.
