Hi, I just started watching your videos and I was wondering if you have canaries? If you do here are some tips, If you want your Canary to sing you should get a male and not get a female because if you do they will stop singing, the next is never leave them out unsupervised keep them inside a shelter with no smoke because Hawks like to jump on there cages and Canaries die from that because of shock, That happened to my Canary, I left out bird feeders and my canary and then a Hawk came by and jumped on its cage. My Canary was bleeding on its top right eye and it lost feathers.

Just an FYI - there are things called 'livestock markers' - linseed oil mixed with color in a solid form. They look like giant crayons! They are non-toxic and last a fair amount of time (not for permanent identification).

I would guess a Delaware rooster is the father of the black barred chick since they have the barring gene. hens can retain sperm for a few weeks so you need to hold off incubating for at least 3 weeks, otherwise you can have multiple sires in each clutch

One thing you could have done was take a finger nail polish and put a small bit on the emu's beak. It won't hurt her, don't worry. My auntie has 7 birds and does this with the ones she knows were bred. Oh, and a tip about your turkeys, DONT PUT THEM IN THAT FENCE YOU HAVE THEM IN. Jeez, if you were experienced you would know that turkeys need to be housed in a solid coop. That's why your turkey died, its that simple! Please NEVER do that again with ANY of your birds. It will only result in death.

I thought emu males laied on multiple felmales eggs? Maybe thats only in the wild and the want to prevent competition. But from what i know males will try and make the best nest to get the most females to come and mate with him and lay eggs.
